Rusty Jones, a 49 year old Kansas City resident and season ticket holder since 1993, traded four Chiefs Broncos game tickets and two Chargers tickets in section 123 for a wedding ring set advertised on Craigslist. The rings appraised at 2800 dollars and the seller sought surprise gifts amid a 9 0 Chiefs start. The deal followed a delayed contact reoffer after the seller reposted the ad.

Randall Jared Cassels, 24, of Boone North Carolina, a former McDowell County teacher, is awaiting extradition to West Virginia after allegedly soliciting a River View High School student via email. The case began Oct. 31 when a juvenile student reported the contact. Cassels was arrested in North Carolina and released on bond. Extradition proceedings follow under state law.

Pizza Plus double murder suspect indicted in Virginia
Christopher Dean Looney, 32, of Belfast, Va., indicted for capital murder multiple victims and two counts of capital murder robbery in the 2009 killings of his parents Harvey and Valerie Looney at Pizza Plus in Claypool Hill. He was arrested February 14 and held at Southwest Regional Jail. the case followed an extensive four year investigation. A separate indictment charged William Weston Walker, 36, of Spring Dale with statutory bar- related offenses.
