Always Free Honor Flight Adds 78 Names to Walk of Honor
At a Veterans Day ceremony outside the Mercer County Memorial Building 78 veterans were added to the Always Free Walk of Honor. Jessica Lynch honors veterans at Concord University ceremony
Former POW Jessica Lynch spoke at Concord University's Veterans Day ceremony. She urged sharing her story to honor all veterans, especially those who cannot tell theirs, noting she lost 11 comrades in Iraq. Lynch joined the Army in 2001 to pursue teaching, shortly after September 11.
