West Virginia voters reject all four constitutional amendments
With 75 percent of precincts counted late Tuesday night, voters overwhelmingly rejected Amendment 2 Property Tax Modernization by 262 958 to 146 311. Gov. Jim Justice and GOP leaders split on the measure, which would let lawmakers alter or end counties taxes on machinery and personal property. Justice campaigned against it citing loss of local control, proposing refunds on vehicle tax instead.
