Two Autos Reported Stolen Recovered
Recovery of two stolen automobiles and a theft from a parked car were reported by Bluefield police. A gray 1940 two door sedan owned by Pauline Koehler of Columbus Ohio stolen from Commerce Street Monday night was recovered at Bluewell. The car was being driven to Georgia by two WAVES due at Dublin Naval Hospital today. A second car owned by E W Hankla stolen from Bland Street was recovered on Second Street in Princeton. Mrs Wilma Dupler of Charleston reported a break in at the Commercial Hotel with dry goods and notion samples valued around 150 dollars stolen.
