Ragpicker slain by state parent in Sharpsburg cell
In Sharpsburg Pennsylvania on November 5 an aged ragpicker jailed for coaxing a five year old girl into a kiss for a penny was shot to death in his cell by the girl's enraged father. Acting Police Sergeant Robert Antelli saw William Moore, 175, die from two shots. Antico, 37, ailing Sharpsburg bartender, fired the shots. Moore had been jailed on a charge of molesting Antico's daughter.

State Police Probe Death Of Davy Man
Welch State police investigate the fatal shooting of 21 year old Dailey Clemins of Davy. He died from a gunshot wound after being taken to Bluefield sanitarium following a Thursday night injury at his parents home. A .22 rifle was used and a search for the weapon continues. A 15 year old Greensboro resident is charged with stealing a Piper Cub in Greensboro and flying it to Brunswick County Virginia on Oct 19. He is also accused of stealing another Cub in Charlotte and flying it to Catawba County North Carolina on election day. FBI official R D Auerbach said the youth will be tried under the federal juvenile delinquency act and may receive flight training. He landed twice without mishap in Brunswick County but wrecked the Catawba County plane.

Thirty eight persons were listed as missing on three planes along the rugged north Pacific rim. Over forty planes searched thousands of square miles of land and sea between Washington and the Bering Sea but found no clues.
