Jealousy Blamed for Four Deaths in California Family Fire
In Santa Rosa a suspected motive of jealousy and revenge is offered for a mass murder and arson. Charles Braker, 45, is believed to have killed C J Begtola and his wife and daughter Camille before shooting himself. A body with a bullet wound was found in the burned Bertola residence. Braker had a divorced wife and son. Local sheriff reports Braker rented a car and drove to the Bertola home where the fire began. The surviving Bertola heir fled the flames before dying later.
