The Rev C W Kelley a longtime Methodist minister of Richlands Virginia died at Fort Sanders hospital in Knoxville Tennessee after treatment and an operation. He served 54 years in the Holston Conference and led churches in Knoxville Chattanooga Bristol Bluefield and Richlands He is survived by his widow Ella Proffitt and son Paul with another son Joseph deceased Burial set for Knoxville with rites at 2 PM followed by interment at Gray Cemetery.

Veteran salesman killed in route 32 crash near Williamson
R. B. Ohlbaum a 74 year old traveling salesman for a Cleveland clothing firm died when his automobile left U S Route 32 and crashed into a mountainside near Williamson. He had worked the territory for thirty years and resided headquartering at the Mata hotel in Bluefield. He is survived by three daughters and a son, all living in Cleveland Ohio.
