In Mc Dowell Recorder style a group near coke ovens taunted a sleeping boy. Willie Smith poured hot embers on his foot, burning him as others laughed. The victim lay unattended for days until the vandal was arrested.
A group of youths during Hallowe'en raid removed gates and signs, displaced wagon wheels, and toppled Peu igos store on Princeton avenue. A barber's pole was set at the door, the pine glass window broken, and about $100 in ladies jackets were stolen. Mr Pedigo offers a reward. suspects remain silent.
A man confessed to a felony under the maimis g vit and will likely enter penitentiary for cruelty. Justice Green issued the warrant based on a complaint, and Smith is sent to answer before the grand jury.

A robbers hold up on the West End yard left Zachariah Roger penniless after surrendering $22.50. Dr. Lowther and Mrs. Lowther were wounded and the doctor killed amid a feud like scene in New Martinsville. Coroners blamed a pistol shot, and townsfolk debate innocence amid gossips and divided sides.
I offer a reward for arrest and conviction of any or all parties who broke into and robbed my store Thursday night. Several ladies jackets were stolen along with 112 B.S. Mr C E Henderson of Poolville Texas writes that his wife suffered chronic constipation for years until using Ramen's Pills and Tonic Pelets sold by W J Bullington. He reports improved health and no other remedies.
