Hospitals unite to boost heart cancer care in Mercer County
Regional will drop its CON and let Princeton Community apply for a CON to become the Mercer County Radiation Cancer Center. A BRMC PCH Healthnet joint venture will provide emergency helicopter service to southern West Virginia and Southwest Virginia, with the helicopter based at Princeton Community. Community forums and November filing for the heart center CON are planned as leaders promise faster access to angioplasty, stents and open heart surgery, benefiting patients regionally.

Ealy jury continues cross examination in federal slayings case
