Cross bearing Utah couple walk toward Washington on highway
Stephen and Loie Carson from Glendale Utah traverse 2600 miles with a five and fifteen pound cross carrying signatures of supporters. They began March 31 in Cairo Illinois and aim to reach Washington DC by June 2 walking 80 to 100 miles weekly. They rely on church parking lots for overnight stays and donations for food gas and supplies. They view their trek as evangelism for Jesus and a showcase of Christian nation values.
