Alm, TG. Tanner, W. A. Pankey, KR. C. Foo, G. D. Dotson, and C. R. Hurry, delegates of Calu met Tribe No. 5 Bluefield.

Miss Nanaols J. Bailey of Falls Mills visits Bluefield Virginia and recounts local history and genealogy. She describes pioneer residents Richard Bailey and Miles Bailey, school days, early Graham and Bluefield, lack of mail delivery, and community life around the 1880s.
The Susanna Wesley club met at Mrs. C. W. Edmunds home with Mrs. Arthur and Miss Gertrude Edmunds assisting. A May meeting of the W. G. T. U. featured a Mother’s Day program with songs, poems, and tributes to mothers, including readings by Mrs. Les Harman and Mrs. J. F. Gallaway. The session closed with prayer and executive planning for upcoming activities.
