Dozen nabbed in Princeton drug bust
Dozen Princeton area residents were arrested in a drug roundup that ran from about 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday. Det. T A Bailey said the probe began in November 2005. Police executed a search warrant at 606 Mercer Street, recovering a small amount of drugs and locating a missing juvenile. Anthony Jackson and Lisa Lawson were named in warrants connected to undercover buys. Lawson’s apartment was involved.

Tunnels Rehabilitation Delays On I 77 East River and Big Walker
Virginia DOT says a major rehabilitation of the East River Mountain and Big Walker tunnels will cause weekday lane closures and travel delays through fall 2008. One northbound lane will remain closed Monday evening while maintenance begins. Sidewalk, water drainage, and tile repairs are included with no permanent lane closures planned.
