Peterstown to build 24M K-8 school replacing two aging campuses

Monroe County Schools Superintendent Joetta Basile says the state School Building Authority has given final approval for a 24 million dollar contract to replace Peterstown Elementary and Peterstown Middle with a single two-division K through 8 facility on Route 12 near Ballard. Groundbreaking could occur within weeks as officials gear up for a dawn of dirt and new classrooms.
