Stewart Wins Pontiac Excitement 400 at Richmond to Boost Title Hope
Tony Stewart roared to victory at Richmond International Raceway in the Pontiac Excitement 400, his fourth top seven in a row and his 10th career win. He moved to seventh in the points, 172 behind Dale Jarrett, as Gordon and Wallace traded hostilities on track and Jarrett faced fuel trouble that narrowed his lead. Stewart’s late surge signals a potential rebound in the season’s second half.
