Grandmother Cyclist Aims for All 50 States Small Towns
Retired teacher at 72, Leona Thomas cycles across America visiting the smallest incorporated towns in each state. She has traveled through 22 states so far, keeping to tents or motel stops, with a goal to reach Kupreanof Alaska and later hike the Appalachian Trail if health allows. She details miles ridden, encounters with locals, and plans to document the journey in a future book.
