Morgantown Post reports Mayor Lazier received a letter from Sallie Harvey of Bluefield West Virginia asking for a description of Moses Lewis the colored man shot and killed here two weeks ago last Sunday. Harvey believes Lewis may be her brother but the letter notes her brother was tall and lame. Lewis stood about five feet ten or eleven inches and was not lame. A dentist who pulled a tooth from Lewis days before the murder says Lewis is not the man searched for.
