Elkins May 4 The West Virginia Academy of Science today elected G. B. Dodds professor of histology and embryology at West Virginia University as president succeeding Dean Charles E Albert for Davis and Elkins College.
A man Silas Steagall 45 and his son Albert 12 were held during an investigation into two bodies found four days earlier. Officers said the deceased may be Boyd Thompson 45 and his son Alex 16, itinerant basket weavers. Ethel Thompson 14, daughter of Boyd, accompanied the Steagalls.
In Enid Oklahoma on May 4 Dr Guy F Brewer faces a second murder charge for death linked to an illegal operation of Hermione Fowler 20 of Oklahoma A and M college case details show earlier charge with Doris Jones 20 mother of two. Prosecutor Roy Holbird says two more deaths may be connected and more charges will follow.
Oklahoma congressman Percy L. Gassaway announces he will address the Motion Picture Club of New York and plans to "burn Huey Long down again" next Tuesday. He recalls his radio address four weeks ago and promises strong remarks on Long's share the wealth proposal.

In Tucson on May 4 the government indicted Oscar H. Robson in the June Robles kidnapping case, charging the mailing of threatening ransom notes. Robson denies involvement while federal agents press the year-long inquiry and Hoover's bureau confirms handwriting matches notes demanding $15,000. Federal judge Albert M.
