Tazewell courthouse project under budget despite delays
The Tazewell County Courthouse project remains about 18 months behind schedule yet roughly 300000 under the original 12.965575 million dollar estimate. Brown & Root officials and partners said Phase 1 is near completion, with Phase 2 to begin after jail relocation and temporary housing fixes, despite a steel shortage. Completion is targeted for September 2001.
