The strike over severance pay spread to Clark Air Base with about 15 U S servicemen attempting to cross barricades.
A Concord College professor’s survey of local tourist attractions is under review by the Greater Bluefield Area Chamber of Commerce. J B Ryan, Ph D, says both the Bluefield and Princeton chambers are keen to develop tourism in the area and notes regional moves toward a West Virginia tourism center.
