The March of Dimes Telerama airs this Sunday from 6 30 a m to 6 30 p m on WVVA Channel 6 at the Bluefield Arts and Crafts Center celebrating its 20th year with talent from NBC Another World star Lawrence Lau and local performers including WVVA host Michelle Fleming Miss Princeton and veteran acts Darnell Miller Don Whitt and Cecil Surratt. Brass Quintet concert at Bluefield College March 24

Laurence Lau Star of Another World Appears at Telerama 1989

Laurence Lau, star of NBC daytime drama Another World, will be the special guest at the 1989 March of Dimes Telerama. He plays Dr Jamie Frame on Another World after leaving All My Children where Greg Nelson drew high ratings. Lau’s career spans The Waltons Eight Is Enough Happy Days and more before joining NBC in 1986.

Beckley hosts a Saturday Irish Heritage week concert at Woodrow Wilson High School at 7 30 p m featuring Mick Maloney and Friends with Jimmy Keane and Tommy Sands.
