The Buchanan county Democratic committee adopted a resolution endorsing Franklin D Roosevelt for a fourth term and backing Senators Glass and Byrd and Congressman John W Flanagan. The body also praised Governor Darden and County Chairman W L Dennis, set a county convention for April 17, and explained a preference for a county primary but opted for the convention to save labor and costs. Precinct mass meetings are slated for March 27 at 2 PM to select delegates based on each 25 Roosevelt votes in the last general election.
