Miss Mary Easley leaves for Bluefield after six months teaching here. she won friends and will be missed. George Scank, recently ill with typhoid, shows signs of improvement.
J C Wynn, chief clerk of the comptroller of the Norfolk and Western, has accepted the Comptroller position with Consolidated Lake Superior Company. His headquarters will be in New York, where the company’s principal office is located. The Wynnes will leave Roanoke, and the Norfolk and Western loses a top official.
