No General Strike Yet in Wise County Miners Dispute

William Webber and John Haddow were arrested as agitators in Wise county mining districts where a strike has been brewing. U S marshal and deputies seized control after a Virginia Iron, Coal and Coke Co order. prisoners, claiming Pennsylvania roots, were moved to Bristol then Lynchburg. Norton miners also walked out demanding union recognition.
