Neighbors balk at front yard burial request in Crab Orchard
In Crab Orchard on Astoria Drive Harold Heyen died of natural causes at 60. His wife attempted a front yard burial, but widespread neighbor opposition and health concerns led to a relocation to Sunset Memorial Gardens. Authorities note no criminal statute prohibits home burial, though public health questions arise.
