Missing Virginia child sought by search parties in Allegheny County

In Covington Virginia on March 5 search parties combed the Snake Run area about 25 miles west of here for 2 year old Sandra McDaniel who wandered away from her grandparent home this afternoon. She had been staying at the Bates yard with her mother and father employed in Lynchburg. The Bates grandparents reported the gate was left open allowing the child to wander.

First commercial atomic power sale eyed for West Milton plant

Lad's Desperate Offer to Sell Dog Sparks Camp Funds

Memphis version of Jesse Hager a 13 year old from Jonesboro Ark offers to sell his doberman breed dog to raise money for a Boy Scout summer camp. He proposed to sell the dog for 60 dollars to join the camp and help the police department with a crook catching dog. Carney mum on island status amid Formosa talks

Admiral Robert B. Carney, heading to Washington after high level talks on Formosa, refused to confirm whether the Nationalists might evacuate Quemoy and the Matsus.
