Bluefield Chamber Director Robert F. Hamilton Dies at 54
Robert F. Hamilton executive director of the Greater Bluefield Chamber of Commerce died of a heart attack in his office shortly after noon Friday. He 54. Hamilton led the revival of the Bluefield Coal Show and other chamber traditions and had prior service with the Beckley Chamber of Commerce. He is survived by his wife Irene, two daughters Frances Snuffer and Kay Mustard, a son Robert H. Hamilton, five grandchildren, and was a Navy veteran. Funeral services set for Monday at Mercer Funeral Home with graveside rites at Sunset Memorial Park Beckley.
