Mannington Cop Killer Ends Hunt With Suicide in N Carolina
Douglas Barker, sought for Mannington West Virginia Police Chief Amos Morris’s murder, shot and killed himself at his sister’s home in Leaksville North Carolina after officers tracked him there. Barker, a native of the area, had been pursued across the eastern U.S. Nancy Sedlock, a 16 year old from Erie Michigan, was taken into custody in Frederick Maryland and linked to Barker’s car and Morris’s death.
