J F Hawse a 38 year old Needmore farmer was released on a $10000 bond after a preliminary hearing in Hardy county in the slaying of Ben Wenger 27 of Needmore. Riley Rieser 21 of Mill Sap was indicted last October on a first degree murder charge in the same case. Deputy A W Mathias said Rieser claimed he aided Hawse in moving the body to a schoolhouse and the building was set afire. The two men face possible grand jury action in June.
