West Virginia Water Co joins Bluefield sanitary board claim
Bluefield officials say West Virginia Water Company may join the sanitary board’s claim over faulty meter readings that reduced city revenues. The board cites losses from delinquent payments and penalties and expects an audit to finish in four to six weeks. The board reports a $250,000 shortfall at year end and tighter finances as vendors may charge interest on overdue bills.
