West Virginia orders Elk Run Coal shutdown over sludge pond

Ohio man killed in third ATV crash this week
A 57 year old Ohio man Daniel C. Ash Sr of Garrettsville died after his ATV rolled over up a steep embankment, pinning him against a tree in the Summers community near West Union Doddridge County West Virginia. State Police Trooper Mark Waggamon called the incident sad as the week saw three fatal ATV wrecks. The crash occurred about 7 30 p m Thursday.
