Route 460 project clears way for motel and medical complex
Bluefield moves forward on a 60 to 80 unit motel and medical office complex on the south side of Route 460 after a 78 acre tract owner awaits utility service. Crews will jack and bore to run water and sewer under the highway, aided by a grant from the H.S. The project aims to connect to gravity lines and reduce future costs, while another jack and bore project is planned near John Nash Boulevard and Route 46. The city was also praised by the Water Development Board for the northside water improvement, aided by West Virginia American Water and board member Ray Bragg.
