Court Funds For UMW In Trust Fund Case
The Supreme Court ruled 8-1 that an employer appointed trustee of a multi employer pension and welfare trust fund is not a collective bargaining agent for management. The decision allows bargaining with unions over creation and management of such funds, reversing a Third Circuit ruling. Also, Agee passport revocation upheld 7-2, and William T. Helmandollar was arrested for DUI in Bluefield.
