Revised budget adopted for county farm agents
County court and farm bureau leaders, with J. O. Knapp, agreed on a revised budget for county agricultural and home demonstration agents. State and federal funding rose slightly while the county share was cut by 950 dollars. The new plan allocates 2850 dollars from each of the state federal and county budgets for salaries and expenses. The court learned the state road commission has sued Mercer county for 3000 dollars. A damage claim against Blueiay Lumber remains unsettled and the commission seeks county payment. The county plans an offset for about 2770 dollars for grading work on the Princeton Oakvale road. The next county court meeting is set for July with bids on remaining grading.
