Bridge misplay under pressure in Vanderbilt Teams match
In the 1972 Vanderbilt Teams Precision Team and Dallas Aces match, South led three of spades at 3NT. West won, diamonds failed, and South went down five. At the other table Bobby Goldman of the Aces converted a near hopeless contract by a miraculous sequence: spade queen, diamond jack, heart king, ruff, and a club discard to seal the win.
