James Robert Wilson of Freeman dies in a Bluefield hospital after a Sunday night illness. He operated a Freeman service station and was a World War II veteran and Bramwell Baptist Church member. Survived by wife Shelby Robbins, Patricia Miller, sister Mrs. Roy Faulkner, brother Paul J. Wilson, and other relatives. Funeral services held at Cramwell Baptist Church with burial in Roselawn Cemetery. Pallbearers named. women of the church to carry flowers.

Carl B Bias of Gallipolis Ohio died Monday morning in a Gallipolis hospital. A former Bluefield resident, he managed Kinney Shoe Store and had lived in Gallipolis 15 years. He was Kiwanis Club and Methodist Church member, Masonic Lodge, Yacht and Golf Country Club past Chamber of Commerce president. Survived by wife two sisters. Funeral held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Gallipolis.

Obituary of W Worley Peery Former NY Central Fireman

W Worley Peery 59 of Bluefield Virginia and later Columbus Ohio died suddenly Sunday from an apparent heart attack. A 24 year veteran railroad fireman he served five years as general chairman of the New York Central Ohio Central Lines Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Engineers. A WWII veteran he belonged to Glenwood Methodist Church Shriners and a thirty second degree Mason. Survived by daughters Mathena and Judith Augburger a brother Earl V Peery a sister Mrs Gladys White and eight grandchildren. Services were held at Schoediner Funeral Home Columbus with burial at Sunset Cemetery.

ADC Names Five Directors Plus One Year Appointees

Five Bluefielders were named to three year terms on the Bluefield Area Development Corporation at the annual board meeting. Six others were elected for one year. Officers elected include W. J.
