Patriot Tour for Veterans Rumbles Into Princeton
Veterans with motorcycles pass a flag through all 50 states in the Nation of Patriots 12th Annual tour. Christian Motorcyclists Association Chapter 667 from Peterstown joined a 160 mile ride from Pikeville Kentucky to receive the flag in Princeton. David Bishop, Vietnam veteran, says the flag will visit 50 states while raising funds for disabled veterans with proceeds benefiting eligible recipients.

Mercer County man sentenced in unlawful assault case
Mercer County jurors found Tyler Gene Campbell 18 guilty May 27 of unlawful assault for the May 10 2020 shooting of Quinzell Payne at Kee Dam. Circuit Judge Derek Swope denied a new trial motion and sentenced Campbell to one to five years in prison. He was remanded to the Southern Regional Jail in Beaver. An investigation began when deputies with the Mercer County Assault A-5 unit responded.
