Home sales slip as mortgage rates ease
May existing home sales fell 1.2 percent to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 3.29 million, per the National Association of Realtors. Rates declined from 10.67 percent to about 10.16 percent by month end, helping limit the decline despite ongoing drops since January.
