Bluefiel der gives life in effort to save a comrade
In a Kingsport river accident two young men, A A Lloyd and Lawrence C Simpson, drowned after Lloyd cried for help while swimming near a dam. Simpson, who tried to rescue Lloyd, went under with him as onlookers attempted rescues. The body of Simpson will be laid to rest at Maple Park after the funeral at his parents home on Union Street.
