A man named Mullens, guarding county prisoners on road work, suffered a sudden acute attack of chronic appendicitis. He was rushed to Mullens lens hospital in critical condition and received surgical treatment. The case involved extensive gangrenous infection but is reported to be improving after the crisis.
Stockholders vote to discontinue Fiat Top Garment Company in Bluefield West Virginia. The resolutions call for converting assets to cash, paying debts, and distributing remaining funds pro rata after four weeks’ publication.
