Patriots Tour flag relay funds veterans in need
Veterans carrying an American flag began a cross country relay from Princeton after receiving the flag from Roanoke VFW members. The Patriots Tour aims to raise funds for families of soldiers killed or wounded, with donations collected along each leg to benefit selected veterans. Descriptions note the flag will visit all fifty states, and organizers plan to reach Hawaii and Alaska within about 100 days.
