Private First Class William Bobby Sluss of Abbs Valley and Carol Black of Birmingham Alabama graduated from Marine Corps Boot Camp at Parris Island South Carolina. Sluss earned honor grad and expert marksman with a commendation. He will report to Camp Lejeune for Marine Combat training before aviation schooling. Army Private First Class Richar C. Hazzard of Roanoke Virginia graduated basic training at Fort Jackson Columbia South Carolina. He is grandson of Samuel and ? Hazzard and a 1997 Mount View High School graduate. Army Private David J. Rose of Oakvale graduated from Signal Support Systems Specialist course at Fort Gordon Augusta Georgia.
