Man wanted in '93 death jailed in N.C.
George Thomas Priddy, 40, of Georgeton North Carolina, was jailed in Winston-Salem after Mercer County indicting him for first degree murder in the December 11 1993 shooting death of Jeffrey Scott Vaught 34 of Nubbins Ridge Road Spanishburg. Vaught was shot in the head while seated in his car in front of the Beach Club. Police say the shot was fired from a distance. Priddy is Vaughts brother in law and had been scheduled for arraignment. An extradition hearing will be set to determine return to West Virginia.
