Poison Ivy Shines in Batman and Robin Despite Flawed Blockbuster
Uma Thurman as Poison Ivy stands out in Batman and Robin, delivering the film’s sharpest performance amid a movie that pairs two villains with Clooney’s Batman. The production dazzles in design, but tone and script falter, reducing momentum as Barbara Ling’s cityscape and Thurman’s menace remain the movie’s bright spots.
