Eastern Associated official says few changes expected as a $9.7 billion purchase by PacifiCorp would transfer Peabody Holding Co. Inc. to a British owner. Eastern, a Peabody subsidiary in Charleston, runs six mines and processing plants shipping over 18 million tons yearly with about 1,800 West Virginia workers and 480 at the Fe deral No. 2 mine in Monongalia County.
