Local service members honored and listed in graduates news
Second Lieutenant Lisa Akers graduates from the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs and will train at Lowry AFB before joining the 3rd Satellite Control Squadron at Falcon AFB. David Scott Brewster leaves West Point with a degree in electrical engineering and an Army commission, headed to Fort Bragg. Multiple other air and army personnel from Bluefield Princeton and surrounding areas are noted for graduations, commissions, training, and awards including Good Conduct, meritorious mast, and deployments.
