Princeton Route 20 omissions delay postwar road program
The state road commission told the Princeton chamber yesterday that part of route 20 between Princeton and Bluewell will not be included in the 1944 program and must wait until after the war. The plan to eliminate curves on route 219 between Princeton and Glen Lyn was also rejected for postwar action. Officials note engineers strayed into new territory needing additional rights of way, while property owners would not grant them.
