Reports last evening say Mr. Driscoll of Princeton Road near Ceres is critically ill with little hope for recovery. He has long worked as a traveling salesman and is known across several states.
Dr. William H. Carr travels to Morgantown to attend an osteopathic convention leaving his practice to Dr. J. B. Eades. The Woodmen's Circle convenes this afternoon at 2 40 at the Eagles Wall and seeks a large turnout.
Miss Mary Kahle and David Lowman married at the Kahle home with Rev. T S Hamilton officiating. Guests from Welch Philadelphia Hazard and Pulaski attended. After the ceremony the couple left for Washington and Atlantic City and will reside in Bluefield.

Retiring Chairman John C. Pack opened the meeting as committee members gathered from Republicans with railroad journeys noted. K. C. Lilly led as temporary chair and Edward Cooper vied with Pack for county chairman after nominations by Zeb Ellison and Joe Sanders Jr. Pack led with 14 votes to Cooper 3 in a secret ballot, Pack pledging unity for the fall campaign.
Christ Episcopal Church's ladies' auxiliary hosts a supper for the men's club in the Presbyterian Sunday school room Friday evening at 6 30. Plans by Mr Mahood near completion include stone construction and early furnace room work. Officials urge club cooperation to complete the church, a future town landmark, and note delivery of building material will start in two to three weeks. This meeting precedes Elman recital attendance.
