Confederate veterans reunion on August 22 in Christiansburg
The Confederate veterans of the city and county are urged to attend a big reunion in Christiansburg on August 22 under James Preston Camp of Montgomery County. Excursion trains will bring attendees, with a large parade featuring veterans from multiple cavalry and infantry units, five bands, twelve drummers, and twelve fifers. Infantry will be led by Captain HG Wade and cavalry by J Ky Montague. Clean up for spring with Early Risers pills are advertised at the end.
