An Athens woman, Belinda Maria Evans, 22, was trapped in a wrecked 1982 Chevrolet S-10 after leaving Pisgah Road in Princeton. Rescuers used hoses and jaws of life to reach her, she was airlifted to Carilton Roanoke Memorial Hospital with severe head injuries. her passenger Patricia Saunders, 23, was hospitalized in stable condition for surgery.
