Youth Is Charged For Soliciting Prostitution Customers For Mom
In Lexington an 11 year old boy is charged with pandering after soliciting prostitution customers for his mother through a citizens band radio. Mrs. Mary Slough of Buena Vista, 41, was sentenced in Rockbridge County General District Court to six months for a misdemeanor prostitution conviction with 30 days to be served and the remainder suspended. She faces a separate charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor to be heard July 7. Police described an undercover operation at White's Truck Stop where Slough, using the handle Stars and Stripes, arranged sex acts and attempted to collect $25 in advance. The boy, nicknamed Bandit, acted as go-between. authorities noted this as possibly the first CB related prostitution conviction in western Virginia.
