Celebrate Princeton Street Fair Dances Through Rain
Rain paused Celebrate Princeton as vendors packed and performers carried on. Connie Shumate, event coordinator, said weather could not stop the show. Vintage cars shined after quick cleanups by Yesterday's Rides volunteers while fans danced to Abové, Chloe, Lauren and Sarah Lamb amid light showers on Mercer Street.

Spirit of the Hi-Way aircraft service station legacy
A historic tourist landmark in Rich Creek Giles County Virginia was a plane shaped Texaco service station at the Route 219 and Route 8 intersection. Built in the 1920s or 1930s by Togo Spangler and Luther Humphries, it resembled the Spirit of St. Louis with a moving propeller and wings nearly ten feet high. Damaged by a truck in 1954 it was demolished and replaced by a modern station.
